  1. Great Razors I'm told

Posted by Paul W. Burrows on 2/24/2014

I purchased the 3 and 4 blade system along with the 2 blade system. I've tried the two blade system and really like it ....I have ordered a years supply of the 2 blade cartriges. I didn't get to use the 3&4 blade system as my son in law wanted to try them.
He really liked the razors and has ordered more for himself and a replacement for mine.

  2. Closeness

Posted by Jason Mcneily on 2/23/2014

Doesn't shave as close as Mach 3.

  3. Decent razor

    Posted by John on 2/13/2014

These are equivalent to the Gillette 3 blade razors, and much cheaper. I could still feel a lot of stubble after using the 3 blade. If the 3 blade Gillette works for you, this one will save you a pile of money.

  4. Just as good as the Big Box Name Brand!

Posted by Michael W. Fisher on 2/12/2014

I wanted to give a 3 & 4 blade cartridge a try. I've always used a 3 blade in the past, I find that a 4 blade just seems like too much area to work with. But when it comes to quality of the blade and docking they're just as good as the expensive brands. I'm placing a bulk order soon.

  5. Solid product

    Posted by Andy on 2/2/2014

I've used Gillette Mach 3 for many years and I'll have to say that the 3 blade Dorco razor was extremely similar. I wasn't a fan of the 4 blade, but I felt the same about other brands that have more than 3 blades. My only complaints is the spring is too strong. When you take razor off your face it flicks shaving cream everywhere. For the price this is hard to beat.

  6. MUCH better than Schick - No burn - cheap price - nice shave

Posted by Stan Smith on 1/20/2014

What it has that others don't is a strip on the bottom and top. I have used the 3x blade and am on the 5th shave with great results.

I have to hand it to these guys they figured most of it all out. It's not entirely as elegant as the more expensive blades but it does give a superior shave than the Quattro and the Fusion. Not too close, but close enough and the open back of the blade releases all the hair and doesn't get all clogged up.

I wash my face first with soap and water and then I follow with coconut oil for the preshave and then cream and get to mowin' the lawn. No burn and clean shave. Then after the shower more coconut oil. Perfect and cheap shave with no burn and no ingrowns.

  7. # and $ blade test run

Posted by Richard Martin on 1/12/2014

The package arrived as stated. With anticipation, I tore open the package and let the razor handle and blades lie on the end table for 2 days. (My usual test procedure) This morning I continued with the test run. I carefully washed my face with soap and water, rinsed and then washed again with soap and water and rinsed again. I carefully patted my face with a warm, wet washcloth. I applied Barbasol shaving cream over my entire face. After removing shaving cream from my mouth, eyes and nose, I attached the 4 blade head to the handle. I carefully placed the razor blade at the demarcation line between the bottom edge of my left side burn and the stubble on my left cheek. I applied gentle pressure while pulling down with the razor. VOILA. I could feel the the whiskers being removed with the precision of a finely honed surgical instrument. GOODBYE WALMART, HELLO DORCO!!! Even though I will miss the gentle whirring of my vibrating Fusion, just as I would miss the gentle and secure feeling our kitty cat's purring gives me, and the little light the Fusion has which tells me,"I am here for you" ( I can also use the light to look up my nose for boogers)
.....these things can kiss my butt because of the terrific price Dorco offers on their products. I will be anxious to see if others reach the same conclusion.

  8. Why buy the name brands?

    Posted by Chris on 1/4/2014

Just the same (or better) quality as the name brands, at a tiny fraction of the cost. Have used the 4 blade system for over 6 months and they perform superbly.

  9. great razor for the price.

    Posted by EMJ on 1/3/2014

Razor is super sharp and last a long time. The only con I have with it is the pivot is too soft. Also the razor head is little large. Overall good buy. Thanks

  10. Crude but Effective

Posted by Kent Thomas on 12/24/2013

I found the Dorco system crude but effective. It is like the difference between my Mustang GT and my Mercedes SL. Both are wonderful road cars, but the Mercedes is much more elegant in execution. The Dorco system is heavier than its Gillette counterpart, the blade connection system larger, and overall it is a larger, clunkier system, but it gets the job done as well as the Gillette and costs a fraction of the Gillette cost.
