Handle can be awkward but blades are the best I have used.
As good or better than Schick
Posted by Ken S. on 12/9/2013
I wish the trial pack came with a stand for the razor handle. But other than that, the handle is solidly made and the blades are as good as or better than the Schick Hydro system I had been using at less than half the price.
BEATS THE COMPETITION

I never used anything but Gillette products since I started shaving about 50 years ago. I saw Dorco online and decided to try them to save about $7.00 on my next blade purchase. I'll have to give Dorco a major thumbs up!!!! EQUAL TO EVEN BETTER than Gillette and the big thing is you save money..
They are ok

I thought the shave was fine, but I didn't like the spring action on the blades/handle. The shave was nice, but not as good as the Gillette razors that I pay waaayyy tooo much for. I was hoping for a better shave. I love your price, but may have to stick to the Gillette Fusion.
BEATS GILLETTE FUSION
Posted by Roland Belford on 11/27/2013
I have been using Gillette Fusion for several years and discovered Dorco products, I have only used the 4 blade system so far and they are great, so much more sharper than the Fusion at about 1/4 the price. I will be trying the 6 blade system as soon as my 4 blade gets dull, if ever....One con, to me is that the blade pivots too easily.
I'm a permanent customer.
Handle spring too stiff
Posted by Ajit tipnis on 11/21/2013
It needs heavy hand to get a clean shave. Spring in the handle is too stiff. The razor doesn't glide smoothly around bends.
All though the price is low, I will pay extra to buy Gillette blades for the sake of less fear of nicks and cuts.
I am going back to my 'expensive' shaving razors.
Takes a few shaves to get use to it

In all the reviews I read, I can't believe nothing was mentioned about the angle of the razor head. To me that was one of the biggest differences in using this vs. the big companies. Still getting use to it. The razor head is on a pivot so it moves but it is just different. The only other observation is it is a little harder to shave right under my nose as the plastic that holds the blades is just a little larger. Other than that, it seems like I take a few more strokes in places to get the same close shave but when I'm finished, I think it's as close a shave as I get with a Mach 3. Have only used the 3 blade razor and will be trying the 4. Works well enough that I am now a Dorco customer and will not be going back to my old brand of razor.
As you would expect the 3 blade isn't as nice as the 4 and the 4 isn't as nice as the 6 blade.

I have tried all three blade types, i.e. the 3 and 4 in the combo set and the 6 blade system with the trimmer. They all cut great. They all use the same handle. They don't, however, all rinse out the same and it appears that they have built them that way. The rear plastic is bulkier and is mounted closer on the three blade hindering water flow and causing the blades to clog quickly. There is slightly less plastic which is further away from the blades on the 4 blade allowing more water flow. The 6 blade has even less plastic and is much further away from the blades, even in comparison to the 4 blade, allowing a LOT of water flow. If keeping your gear clean is important to you get the 6 blade system. One side note, I like the way the trim blade is mounted and it is pretty easy to use, but it did cut me (once) and I NEVER had that problem with the Gillette Fusion. I would give the 3 blade TWO STARS, the 4 blade 3 STARS, and the 6 blade 4 1/2 STARS.

The three blade works great (haven't tried the four blade yet). Saves a lot of money versus Gillette Fusion, I plan on using these from now on.

I have been shaving for well over 40 years and I have NEVER enjoyed a shave as much as I do now. For years I used the Gillette Mach 3 and I can honestly say the Pace 3 and blades are far superior to the Mach 3 - not to mention much more affordable. I would highly suggest anyone thinking about trying this razor system - DO IT NOW. You will be thankful you did.....
