As a teenager, I started out with a twin blade, and moved to the 3 blade when it was introduced in the late 90s. I've tried 4 and 5 blades before, but I have a very thick, tough beard, sensitive skin, and VERY prone to ingrown hairs. I've been using the Dorco 3 blade system for a month now in combination with a Colloidal Oatmeal shave gel. I would say just as good as the name brands that are 4 cartridges for $17.00. I'm sold, and can't see me going back.

Last and last

I have used these blades with super results for the past year. I don't shave everyday so when I do they are getting a 4-5 day growth. I have had a set last as long as 2 mos. And the blades were still ok but the lube strip was worn off. I am confident these are by far the
best shaving blades for the money, on the market.

Would buy razors again
Good, but I'd go with the 4 blade

Comparing this with the 2 and 4 blade systems, I found this to be the odd one out. While it shaves just fine and is a high quality blade, I think the 2 blade wins on value and the 4 blade is noticeably better for only a tiny bit more per cartridge.
Shave wise, there's not a ton of difference between the 3 and 4 blade refills. You will end up with a good comfortable shave either way. The 4 blade has a wider head, requiring less strokes and a very slightly closer shave. However, unless you compare side by side at the same time, you probably wouldn't notice.
Where the 4 blade really shines is in clean up. The blades are VERY open. The handle mount only covers maybe 20% of the back and rinsing it quickly through water cleans this blade out like new every time. This means it will last longer. In comparison, the 3 blade has over half of the back covered by the handle mount and the whole middle of the cartridge clogs easily. For this reason, I change cartridges more often with the 3 blade making them a poorer value, even at a lower price. The 2 blade also have a very open back, so they clean up well, too. It seems like the 3 blade are the only ones harder to clean for me.
So in short, get the 4 blade if you want a higher end cartridge or 2 blade if you are cheap.
Good blades at a great price

Blades shave well and are quite affordable. I have a very tough beard and it works as well as a Mach3 blade.
Great blades for price

Can't beat the price of these blades. Buying this way makes each blade about a dollar. The blades are strong and sharp. Although there is many claims to last a month, I can only get a week out of mine. But, I can't complain as that is only a dollar a week where before it was like 4 dollars a week for a blade. Not to mention this is 16 blades instead of 10 like Gillette.
GREAT 3 BLADE

THE 3 BLADE SYSTEM WORKS GREAT FOR ME.
I USE 1 FOR A WHOLE MONTH--THEN CHANGE--NOT BECAUSE IT NEEDS TO BE CHANGE THAT IS JUST WHAT I DO. I THINK THE BLADE WOULD LAST LONGER I JUST WANT TO USE A NEW ONE EACH MONTH.

Good deal price and quality. The three blade system lasts longer than any of the name brand blades. I have used the "G brand" blades all my life starting with their single edge blade and I can surely say I get twice as many shaves from the Dorco blade system than with the name-brand. As for the price and quality, Dorco cannot be beat
Save lots of money and lasts much longer

I've been using the Pace3 blades for over a year. I find that each blade is lasting almost a month before replacing, with no nicks or cuts. I just cannot justify paying Mach 3 Turbo prices after using the Dorco Pace 3. Highly recommended!!
