1. Dorco 6 Blade System

   Previously have used name brand 4 blade systems.
   I find the dorco 6 blade works as well, is it better, I don't see that it is any better.
   If the cartridges last as long as name brand then the Dorco will live up to its claims and be less expensive. My only gripe about the razor is the length of the pivot it requires an odd arm/hand position to shave, but I can adapt to that.

   With 6 blades it seems to last quite some time with a good shave and no cuts to heal yet. I like it.

3. still deciding

   I shave my head and it is hard to find a good razor to get a good shave. this one is ok so far, only been through 2 cartridges so far. it doesn't get too close of a shave though. wondering if the 6 blades is too many for shaving the head? the price is good though. I have 8 more cartridges to use and then maybe try a different one.

   I thought the 6 blades would be better than 5. I was wrong. Or maybe it's the quality... With a gillette i wont start growing hair back on my legs for at least 2 days. I have hair growing back the same day with these razors.

5. Early Results Look Promising

   I have coarse facial hair, that grows slowly.
   Only shaving every other day and even then I could wait another day if nothing is pressing.
   With the Fusion I would get 2-3 good shaves then nicking and pulling for another 2-3 before I would change the blade. The first Pace 6 blade has provided me with 10 shaves to date,. Starting to pull a little now. I think there is one or two more in there before a change will be needed. That's a 40-50% increase in life. Couple that with a fair price and you have an exceptional value.

6. A Real Deal

   I've used a Gillette Fusion (5 blade + 1) for as long as they've been made and I love it, except for the fact that the blade wears out very quickly and they cost about $4 a piece. Measuring my new DORCO (6 blade +1) against what I consider the gold standard, I can enthusiastically give the DORCO 4 3/4 stars. It's ergonomics are great. The handle is well made. The shave is good - effective and smooth. Most shaves are without a single nick. And the blade is appearing to last well into a second week...perhaps more (I have an average beard). It perhaps goes without saying that the cost for approximately the same quality razor is simply outstanding - an amazing value. The only thing I might improve is the trimmer blade which seems a little rougher than the Gillette's. By the way, I've tried cheaper razors of all sorts before, and nothing came close to the Gillette Fusion...until DORCO. I will be a customer for life!

7. Substandard

   Tried to shave my head with brand new cartridge. Took twice as long and still couldn't get all the the stubble in about 3 spots. Switched to Gillette to finish the job.

9. Not So Great

   I totally expected to love this razor but was disappointed from the first stroke. Not nearly as smooth as Gillette Fusion and I get fewer shaves per blade. Good price but I won't be a return buyer

10. First rate quality for a first rate shave

    I'm cheap. I admit it. Grew up poor, but now in my late 30's make in the low six figures/year. So I can afford to pay, but I refuse to waste money. These razors rock! Six blades give me a helluva smooth shave. Closest ever, and that's compared to the name brand razors up to four blades each and the disposables. Never used the high end electrics, so I can't compare to those. I have thick facial hair growth and have been teased for YEARS as a teen and an adult about looking like I have five o'clock shadow, even 1st thing in the morning after having just shaved. Always had to shave all down strokes first, then re-shave with all up strokes to get it decent. Even then, I'd nick and cut my face daily and look like I've been in a fight. It's embarrassing. Also, shaving used to take at least 40 minutes/day.
    
    All until trying these razors. Yes, super skeptical at first (is this a fake review?), but I'm a believer now. Today is Thursday and I've been using the same Dorco six blade razor since Monday of last week. I skipped the weekend, so this is already nine shaves and it's still very smooth and no cutting! I'll use it again tomorrow and re-evaluate. Maybe demote it to weekend shaver, or maybe try for a third workweek out of it. Just an incredibly close shave for mere pennies each. Still can't believe they're so inexpensive and they work so great on my thick haired, sensitive skinned face. And that's all with just cheap shaving cream, too, nothing expensive or gel. I've slashed my daily shaving time from 40 minutes to about 5-7 minutes now, too. Seriously.
    
    Delivery was great, too. I ordered on a Friday morning and they shipped that afternoon; had tracking number and everything. Showed up in my mailbox that next Monday. I bought the six blade razor/handle combo, plus half a dozen replacement cartridges, to get the best deal. Did the exact same for the ladies version, which is just a different color, but same razors. My wife loves them, too, but she never really had any kind of shaving issue to begin with. So it's my experience that probably applies more to you. Ok, ridiculously long razor review, so let's shut this down. Oh, only thing, is the name "Dorco". It's a little embarrassing in English because you think "Dorko", like dork. Whatever. You're getting a great shave and saving huge money. Who's the dork now? lol
