Got my new razor and some cartridges on 1/10. Couldn't wait to try this new shave. Definitely as good if not better than anything I have ever used in the past. I usually get about 30 days out of a cartridge. From the way my new Dorco was working it looked like it was headed for a new record. Then, on day 16 the cartridge fell off the handle and wouldn't go back on. A small (really small) piece of black plastic had broken off where the cartridge engages with the handle and that was the end of cartridge #1. I put a snap-on blade protector on the cartridge part of the razor before I put it back in my shaving kit, so doubt that it's anything I've done. So far, so good with cartridge #2.

Absolutely love this blade. After a long time a very clean shave on my rough stubble. I find it to better than Gillette Fusion which I have used for a long time

I have a tough, I mean TOUGH beard.
Black hair, very thick, very coarse.
I've been shaving since 1975, and I have never found a blade that would cut thru this briar patch that grows out of my face and neck.
I found Dorco by accident while searching thru internet shaving forums (yes, they actually have internet shaving forums) and Dorco was highly reccomended, so I went directly to the website and ordered the 6-blade system with refills.
Let me tell you, the first shave was like nothing I've ever experienced except in a barber chair with a skilled straight razor shave.
Close, smooth, non-irritating, which is rare.

Tired of paying the exorbitant prices for cartridges. I have found the Dorco blades to be of similar quality to Fusion at a fraction of the cost. I'm such a fan that I talked my twin boys into Dorco blades and now they are hooked!

I've used Mach 3 since around 2001 and I've even tried the Gillette Fusion.
The Mach 3 has been a great razor all these years till I used the Dorco shaving system.
I need to shave every day and have thick facial hair. I can easily use the Dorco razors for one full week before I need to change the cartridge.
Also, the cost is quite a bit less than the other cartridges. I have been trying to tell everyone about the Dorco products because I think this product is awesome! I even got one for my girlfriend!

I shave every 2-3 days. Couldn't stand going to Target to find blades "on sale" for approx. $4 bucks a blade, so I searched online for an alternative to the name brands. So happy I found this product. I was a little concerned about some reviews that the razor was not solidly built, but most reviews were positive so I purchased the 6 blade system. I couldn't believe the quality of the razor itself. I expected a lightweight plastic like a disposable, but that's not the case at all. It has a nice weight and the movement of the blade works great on my face. The 6 blades work awesome. I would say just as good or better than any of the razors I purchased at the store. Next time I think I'll get the blade with the trim edge, to get sideburns trimmed more accurately, and by my nose, but I would rate this a 9 out of 10, and much higher than I dreamed of.. I will never buy another razor product at the local store. Thanks!!

I have a tough beard and have suffered through 20+ years of multiple blade razors, each promising a smooth, nickless shave, with mixed results. For me, more blades do mean a better shave, but most clog up and have to be replaced sooner than I'd like. The Dorco-Pace 6-blade is just remarkable: a quick, safe shaver that's pretty easy to keep un-clogged. And the price is the clincher. My only criticism is that I don't have the trimmer blade, so I have to work the razor just below my nose (next time I'll order the trimmer!). I've been telling my friends about this razor -- a real winner.

I think the product is horrible. First and only shave with this product produced a rough and incomplete shave. My beard is very mild. I am part Indian and I almost have no beard. The blades seem dull. Both my wife and I experienced the same result. Compared to a fusion blade with about ten shaves already on it, the fusion blade was still much, MUCH, better. There is no comparison at all in our opinion. In trying to return the product, we are offered only an exchange. The product doesn't work properly so why would anyone want an exchange for the same thing? As stated above, it is not suited for the intended purpose.

This product is just as good as any name brand you can compare it to, and better than some. I say this as relates to shaving and not to trimming sideburns since if your looking for that they have a shaver with a trimmer. So if you want a great shave that will give you a great shave and save you a ton of money on blades Dorco is the way to go. I say this to those that know how to shave already. Not the dorks that don't know how to get a close shave.

I started shaving my head about ten years ago and have tried many different blades. I spent a lot of money on shaving systems that just did not "cut it". From major brands to off brands and none of them gave me the close shave that I quested for. And then I found Pace 6 by Dorco. WOW! That is the closest most comfortable shave I have EVER had. Thank you. My quest for slick is over!
