I have heavy whiskers. I shave against the grain. Scenario set...
Dorco Pace blades last a week, just like Gillette Fusion. Maybe one more day than Gillette, to be honest. It seems also to me that Dorco does not have the extreme "artificial blade degrade, self-destruct" that Gillette seem to do at shave #5-6.
If you are saying Gillette is better, that's your opinion. Mine about you is you are wrong.
If you are saying Gillette is worth the 300% premium, you are wrong ...and deluded.
Dorco is as good, if not better.
I live in New York City. I get such JOY not buying Gillette refills for $40-$45 for 12 blades. It pained me to buy them.
Seriously, I get pure happiness paying the right cost with Dorco Pace.
And it's a good product which shaves well.

Amazing value, can't wait to buy again. The build quality is even better than Gillette

I really had high hopes that this would make it easy to switch, but I find myself struggling to make a choice between ridiculous prices and a better shave. Is the product effective? Yes. Is it on the same level as one of Gillette's premium blades? No. It's not even close enough to debate for me. It didn't feel as close and clean a shave. The difference in my mind lies in the lubricating/lotion strip. Improve that and maybe that helps mitigate the pull and feel issues. As so many have said, you get what you pay for and if that's far and away the #1 attribute you consider, then look no further. Otherwise, you will probably find yourself in the same situation, premium quality vs cost.

These are great! the price is even better, glad I tried them...I felt no difference from name brand razors.

After reading all the reviews I decided to give these a try since they were considerably cheaper than what I've been paying for brand name blades. I have to agree with some of the other folks when I say you get what you pay for. As a user of the Mach3 blade system for years, I immediately noticed a difference with these blades. I have very thick stubble and I have to shave twice to get a close shave. Plus, for whatever reason, I cannot get right up underneath my nose and have to use my old razor to complete the job. Not sure it's worth all this hassle to save some money.

While I normally like the Mach3 Turbo blades, I did try out SXA1040: 6 Blade System just to see if less inexpensive necessarily meant cheaper (in the quality). Its true you get what you pay for. These blades last only about 3 days before they start irritating my skin, whereas the Mach3 Turbos could last me a week. So, relative to the price difference, I would say the SXA1040 isn't a bad blade at all and worth the price if you buy in quantity. I'll be purchasing more of these blades in future, even though I know I'll change them out in 3 day cycles.

Decent blades, a little tug and pull, but not too bad. My old Gillette Fusion gives a slightly better shave, but costs way too much for replacement blades. I've gone ahead with a $40.00 order of replacement blades and will be using this razor for quite some time.

One of the few times that a product has met and exceeded my expectations. Brand name razor blades are ridiculously priced. The razor blades I am using are every bit as good as the brand name products. This is a great Deal and I purchased the six blade model and wish I had done this years ago.

I use these for legs and axilla (being female) and they are great. Very smooth results and no nicks.

I really like this product! It's working much better than the name brands that I have been paying a lot for! I am ordering as gifts for two friends.
