Great shave!!!! Glad I found Dorco. I feel like I have been ripped off on blades for years.

For the past 30 years, I've been eager to try out whichever razor manages to prevent 5 o'clock shadow at, for me, noon. Electric or conventional, it didn't matter...I had semi-permanent shadow. Actually, electrics were painful, as they'd occasionally catch on individual follicles.
The battery-powered Fusion I've had for years was better than anything else I'd tried, going back to the Atra II, but MAN, are those cartridges expensive. Not only that, they last me less than a week. There isn't any reason for this, IMO, other than me having steel wool-like facial hair, I guess.
FWIW, there's no difference in powered vs. unpowered Fusion cartridges, other than color.
An online friend told me about Dorco, and after investigation, the potential risk of it not working out was well worth it, seeing as I was staring down another Fusion refill package of cartridges at a cost of almost $3 each. He had a 20% off code, so for about $30, shipped, I had a new razor (which is contoured & weighted perfectly) and 24 replacement cartridges.
I went with the 6+ because I like having the single rear-facing blade for sideburns, but the control is SO good, I don't need it!
In fact, I had been using two razors...one for my face, and another for under my nose, 'cause the head on the Woot! special was too large and I'd both nick nostrils AND it'd look messy.
The Dorco shave is closer, no nicks, I don't have to shave my face in three different directions, and I've been getting at least two weeks of shaving six times per week out of a cartridge. I'm impressed.

This product is like paying for a Ford Explorer base model and ending up with a Porsche Chyenne. This is one of the very rare products that exceed the quality of the purchase price.

This 6 blade + Trimmer razor is great! It offers a very close smooth shave compared to other brand names that I've tried. I really like the weight and feel of the handle as well! The only downside, and it is minimal, is that having six blades makes it a little harder to shave your upper lip close to your nose. However, turn the blade around and use the trimmer to clean up tight areas! I also recommend the Dorco Pace 4 blade cartridges as well if you need something a little easier to maneuver. I use both with great results! Now introducing family members and friends to Dorco razors and all are jumping on board! Plan on putting them in stockings this year for Christmas as the price point and quality are hard to beat! At least give them a try if you have not already. You won't be disappointed!

I was using the vibrating Gillette Fusion Proglide before this. I liked how smooth the Gillette was, but I got use to this one after about 3 shaves and I don't have any rash/burn whatsoever. I consider myself someone with sensitive skin, and this does a great job. Give it a week and you will see it is well worth the money saved. While there may be better razors out there, there is none better for the money.

I have been pretty particular about my razors for years. I had faithfully been a Gillette user for years. I shave my head and their 5 blade Fusion was great for daily shaves. The draw back was the cost so through some investigating I found Dorco and tried their 6 blade system. All I can say is that I will never buy Gillette again, completely comparable or better product at less than half of what Gillette costs. Rarely do I write reviews but at such a savings I felt compelled to tell all my friends and write this. Thanks for putting money in my pocket Dorco!

I am a Gillette Fusion user, but the price for blades is very expensive. I saw the Dorco 6 blade system & decided to give it a try. So far I am pleased with the product. The shave is smooth & I have yet to be nicked while shaving. The only con would be that the trimmer blade doesn't quite trim the sideburns cleanly. If not for that I would give the Dorco 5 stars,

Awesome razor. Shaves better than my Fusion plus since they are so cheap, I change the blade every week.

Buy the Pace 6+ - awesome razor at a fraction of the cost of the big boy companies.
Spent the extra few cents to get this top of the line razor - it's worth it!
You won't be disappointed and I'll be buying many more.
