Takes a few shaves to get use to it

Posted by Dan on 11/18/2013

In all the reviews I read, I can't believe nothing was mentioned about the angle of the razor head. To me that was one of the biggest differences in using this vs. the big companies. Still getting use to it. The razor head is on a pivot so it moves but it is just different. The only other observation is it is a little harder to shave right under my nose as the plastic that holds the blades is just a little larger. Other than that, it seems like I take a few more strokes in places to get the same close shave but when I'm finished, I think it's as close a shave as I get with a Mach 3. Have only used the 3 blade razor and will be trying the 4. Works well enough that I am now a Dorco customer and will not be going back to my old brand of razor.

As you would expect the 3 blade isn't as nice as the 4 and the 4 isn't as nice as the 6 blade.

I have tried all three blade types, i.e. the 3 and 4 in the combo set and the 6 blade system with the trimmer. They all cut great. They all use the same handle. They don't, however, all rinse out the same and it appears that they have built them that way. The rear plastic is bulkier and is mounted closer on the three blade hindering water flow and causing the blades to clog quickly. There is slightly less plastic which is further away from the blades on the 4 blade allowing more water flow. The 6 blade has even less plastic and is much further away from the blades, even in comparison to the 4 blade, allowing a LOT of water flow. If keeping your gear clean is important to you get the 6 blade system. One side note, I like the way the trim blade is mounted and it is pretty easy to use, but it did cut me (once) and I NEVER had that problem with the Gillette Fusion. I would give the 3 blade TWO STARS, the 4 blade 3 STARS, and the 6 blade 4 1/2 STARS.

works great

The three blade works great (haven't tried the four blade yet). Saves a lot of money versus Gillette Fusion, I plan on using these from now on.

OUTSTANDING RAZOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by Don Riccardi on 10/17/2013

I have been shaving for well over 40 years and I have NEVER enjoyed a shave as much as I do now. For years I used the Gillette Mach 3 and I can honestly say the Pace 3 and blades are far superior to the Mach 3 - not to mention much more affordable. I would highly suggest anyone thinking about trying this razor system - DO IT NOW. You will be thankful you did.....

It's only okay

Posted by Cordell on 9/30/2013

I purchased the trial pack and both blade cartridges worked "okay". They say compare to Mach 3 and Quattro, but in my opinion I do not agree. Sure, they work good, but not as well. I've been a Mach 3 users for many years and still can't find anything that cuts as close. Maybe it's the texture of my African American hair because mine is rather coarse. I will probably purchase these again but only use them as a mid-week shave. For occasion where I must have an excellent shave I will stick with my Mach 3. I was really hoping to find a less expensive alternative.

Pace 4 vs Fusion

Posted by Robert on 9/25/2013

I was looking for replacement Gillette Fusion cartridges on Amazon. The Amazon sidebar was advertising for Dorco. I purchased the Pace 3 & 4 trial pack, hoping to reduce my cost of shaving and find a replacement for my Fusion razor. I found the replacement in the Dorco product. My beard is not heavy so I can get 1 month of shaving with the Fusion. I have achieved the same results with the Dorco product, and I'm saving a bunch of money.

Great Value and a Great Shave

Posted by Mario Chilanski on 9/19/2013

I have tried several systems, including a safety razor with several versions of double edge blades.
This 3 blade and 4 blade system does a first class job, without any nicks and cuts.

I recommend it.

A good product

Have used your blades 2 weeks, so far I am pleased. See no difference w/ my Fusion

I'm sold.

I purchased the 3 blade & the 4 blade system and have tried the 4 blade head so far. It works well and the price is definitely better than the other products on the market.

3 and 4 blade system

Posted by Paul Joseph on 9/11/2013

I really like the razor, especially its comfort in my hand. Of course, the shaving with the 4-blade cartridge feels better than with the 3-blade. But both do a really nice job. I find that I do not need to go over the same spots much to get a clean shave. I truly love the inexpensive cost!

A Handle

Posted by Blaine on 9/10/2013

It is just a handle for the beat razors on earth. Buy this handle cause if you don't the sharp ass razors WILL cut you.

Not as good as I thought it would be

Posted by Tommy on 8/26/2013

Maybe one with more blades would be better for me. I wasn't that impressed, especially with the 3 blade one.
