3 blade razors

Posted by Craig on 3/15/2014

This product is great, when compared to "Turbo" it is just as good, for the price that makes it even better. Glad I found "Dorco" on the internet.

3 blade razor good, but get the 4 blade handle

Posted by Taylor on 3/14/2014

The 3 blade cartridges provide a wonderful shave and an outstanding value. But I would recommend that instead of buying this 3 blade starter kit, you get the 3 and 4 blade try me kit. It's essentially the same price, but comes with a much nicer handle that is mostly metal. The 3, 4 and 6 blade handles and cartridges all work together, so for an extra couple of dimes, it's well worth it for the nicer handle. It enhances the experience a bit more. The handle that comes with this kit is not that great.

5 stars for the blades and 3 stars for the handle.

Pleasantly surprised

Posted by Andy Bachle on 2/19/2014

I've used a leading brand of 3-blade razors for years and decided that since they were so ridiculously expensive, I would try something new. I've been pleasantly surprised with the Dorco razors as I was expecting to compromise on shave quality or blade life. However, they have done every bit as well as the other brand. PLUS, I had trouble ejecting the blade cartridge on my razor and when I asked customer support what I was doing wrong, they just sent me another one!! Later, I popped the first one off with a small screwdriver and now it's working great too. So thanks for the awesome customer service!

Save money on your razors

Works as well as mach 3 for less money.

Solid

I've used 2 three blade razors before. This is the better one and it was cheaper.

Product As Advertised

Posted by Jeremy on 2/4/2014

This razor is just as good as any of the other three blade ones out there for much less cost for new blades. I'm quite happy with it. The blades don't wear out any faster than others and the product is of good quality. My only "con" is the holder that comes with it only holds one spare and is designed to go on the shower wall or mirror or something.

Does the job

Posted by Wes on 1/30/2014

The 3 blade razor and system are ok. They do the job but seem to drag a little. I also don't like the fact that it is hard to trim sideburns or shave under the nose. I still keep my Schick Tracer (that I was trying to replace) around to do the trim jobs.

Other than that they are adequate. They do save money so that helps.

just ok

Posted by Jeff on 1/22/2014

Surprised at all the 5 star reviews. for me it's just ok. I have to shave over the same spot several times (the blades seem recessed to far and do not make good contact with the skin). These do not compare with the famous name brand 3 blade razor. I do not get as close of a shave with these. the price is right but from now on I will pay the extra and get a better shave and their blades will last a lot longer since shaving with this Pace system its like shaving 5 times each shave with all of the times I have to shave over the same spot to get just a decent shave.

Klunky, but effective

Posted by Tim Braden on 1/17/2014

Compared to the Mach3 Turbo I've been using, the Pace3 razor appears klunky (it's bulky and heavy) so my expectations were low. However, the Pace3 delivered a comfortable shave, the pivot head tracked my facial contours well and the blade rinsed clean. Subjectively, I thought the shave was not quite as smooth (or as close) as the Mach3 Turbo but felt my original prejudice might be coloring my judgement so I tried an objective approach: when it was time to switch to a new blade I put a new one in both razors, shaved the left half of my face with the Pace3 and the right half with the Mach3 Turbo - honestly, I couldn't tell the difference (even after 24 hours both sides felt comparable). Bottom line: aesthetically, the Mach3 looks nicer but the Pace3 matches it's performance (and, at consistently 34% less per blade, I think I've found my new razor. Thanks

Last longer

Posted by Frank Ascione on 1/5/2014

It takes time to get used to the angle of the blade, and flatness of the 3 blade system. Overall shaves better and lasts longer than Mach 3.
It does take time to adjust 3 month user.

Not bad...I'll need to do more tests

Posted by A. Marchant-Shapiro on 12/18/2013

I normally use a Mach3, but the blades are rather costly, so I thought I'd try this razor. It's not at all bad. It seems to do a pretty good job at an excellent price. The shaving head itself is on the large side (compared to the Mach3) but works well. I'll be ordering some more when I run out of Mach3 blades.

Not the best but very good for the money

Posted by Carmen Carosella on 12/17/2013

I like the 3 blade system and it gives a very good shave. It's not the name brands but for the money its very, very good.
