The name brands had better watch their back with this razor

Posted by Rick on 1/22/2014

It does exactly the same thing as the name brand razor does.

Great thing is now we can start saving tons of money since we no longer have to purchase razor refills at a 4 pack for $22. Gotta love it!

Great quality and value

Posted by Mark on 1/7/2014

I always become angry when I see the prices of razors at CVS or Target. $15 for a package of 4 cartridges is ridiculous! I discovered Dorco from a friend and gave the 4 blade model a shot. So far I'm very impressed and the quality is comparable to the name brand EXPENSIVE razors I would buy in the store. These are worth giving a try.

Best razor I have ever bought !

Perfect answer to high razor costs. Best shave at a fraction of the price!

Best razor

I am currently using the four bladed model, and I do not believe I have ever had a closer shave.

Good option for those on a budget

Posted by John on 12/31/2013

Been using Mach3 razors for years and recently tried these out. So far I've gotten a pretty good shave from these blades, can't say it was just as good as my old blades but good enough. The money I save is worth the slight reduction in quality.

pleasantly surprised

Both the razor and blades exceeded expectations. My hope is that the quality and the pricing will stay as is going forward.

4 over 6

Posted by wr sloan on 12/22/2013

Had ordered 6 blade not a good shave then on reorder I ordered 4 blade this is a much closer shave than the 6.

Cheap but not easy

Posted by M Mullen on 12/16/2013

I'd like to say I'm totally happy with these blades, as I feel Gillette is hosing me, but I do have 2 issues -
Takes more strokes to get the job done;
Does a poor job in some tight locations.

They are lots cheaper, though.

Quality Product

Posted by Tony T on 12/16/2013

The quality of the product is great. The blades are sharp and the handle is comfortable. The blades shave very nicely except for an area on my neck and on these 2 areas I can not get to shave at all. I used a Fusion and had to use it to shave those areas. No matter what I tried it would not shave those areas at all. When comparing the to the Fusion the blades are wider apart and the angle of the handle is different. I can not tell if the blades themselves are a different angle. Other than those 2 areas of my neck the shave was perfect. Maybe I should try the 6 blade but I'm not sure if it will help. Would recommend people try these and see if they work for you.

A shockingly good shave

I'm done paying stupid amounts of money to shave. Had actually considered growing a beard to reduce exorbitant razor costs. Dorco is the answer...most highly recommend.

Great Value, lacks closeness

Posted by Mike Baldwin on 12/7/2013

I have tried the three blade and now the four blade offerings. I find the four blade the better fit.
Unfortunately, with my face structure, I have to use another razor to get certain spots. I don't fault the blade, but the particular angle of the blade from the handle.
I will continue to buy these razors and use as they are a great value, however, I will also continue to use another razor to hit the tough spots.

Pivoting head - don't like.

Posted by Steve Pipkin on 12/2/2013

I don't like the pivoting head. I guess I'm used to a fixed head. Also the distance of the blades to the front edge of the blade holder is so large that its hard to shave the whiskers on my upper lip that are under my nose. The blade head hits my nose before the blades get to whiskers closest to my nose. I shave in an upwards motion.
The blades are sharp. They last about as long as name brand blades.
