A good surprise

Posted by Robert Green on 10/1/2013

I have been using this razor going on three weeks and it still gives a good shave. I have a pretty heavy beard and am very happy to report it really is a great buy. In addition, I have not cut myself even once.

Money well spent

I have been looking for an alternative to spending lots of money on replacement blades for me, as I shave both my head and face, using the Gillette Fusion system, at an incredible cost. Now I have found it, the DORCO blades are simply put, the BEST. No more cuts, really close and quick shave at a reasonable price. Goodbye Gillette and all that cash.

Can't beat it for the price

I was a Gillette Fusion user for a long time. I really was tired of paying the crazy price they charge. Switched to Dorco. With the exception of a little pull, these razors are just as good and 1/3 of the price.

Best shave ever

I am delighted with my new Dorco razor. It out performs my previous razor and is much less costly!

GREAT RAZOR!

Posted by Estelle Whiddon on 9/9/2013

My husband has a beard. He switched from a drug store brand and says he will never go back! His skin looks and feels great. Try it , you'll like it! I also purchased this razor for both of my sons and they love it too! All the men say the blades last longer and the shave is great.

For the price, you can't beat it

Having been an unwilling victim of the ludicrous and infuriating business practices favored by big-name shaving product companies for decades, I was quite surprised and skeptical when I stumbled upon the Dorco website. After all, I was used to paying printer ink cartridge-caliber prices when it came to replacing my shaving gear, especially the replacement heads. You’d think the blades were made out of a magical combination of unicorn horn and diamond with how expensive they are.

The skepticism melted away the first time I used my new six-blade razor. It produced as good a shave—if not better—as the old fusion razor I’d so happily sent hurdling into the garbage can moments after I finished up. The only thing I didn’t get with the Dorco razor was the feeling of weary contempt that usually accompanied any sort of shaving-related purchase in the past.

I will say that I do miss the single grooming blade along the very top of the razor, but it’s more than easy enough to compensate for its absence. Perhaps this will be available on the Dorco razor heads in the future? Even if it never makes an appearance, I’m sold.

Dorco>everything else.

Dorco understates the savings

Posted by William Tolin Gay on 8/29/2013

When Dorco compares one of their sets to one of the leading national brands, they include the handle. This understates long-term savings by a significant amount.

The national brands essentially give away a handle, then charge for the replacement blades. Dorco charges for a higher quality handle, which, of course, you only buy once.

Last time I checked at Costco, three-bladed replacement cartridges were about two bucks apiece; Dorco's three-bladed cartridges are less than a dollar each. I use the six-bladed cartridges, which cost a little more than a dollar, but I'm on my second month with one now -- and that's without any blue jeans stropping tricks. The big name cartridges should, so they tell you, be replaced every week. So by my calculations, Dorco is about sixteen times the value, for the same quality or better.

Better than any I've used

One of the best I've tried. Will reorder!

Not Anywhere Close To Turbo

Very disappointing - Found the shave to be irritating to my skin. I would love to have saved the money vs. Gillette, but apparently you do get what you pay for.

Great Shave for the price

Customer service is excellent and could not be better.

Like it better than Fusion

Posted by William on 8/26/2013

Received my first order several weeks ago and I am very pleased. In addition to the obvious cash savings, I find this system shaves better than my Fusion. I particularly like the way it rinses out more thoroughly. No more clogs between blades. I am a convert.

Great Razors Great Value

These razors are great, especially for the value.
